I've been waiting a long time for them to put a stop to that. Even China doesn't execute kids. We lost a seat on the UN Human Rights council because we couldn't give up our beloved right to execute children. And why do I refer to them as children, as if 16 year olds can't think for themselves? Simple. I take my cue from the government.
Can't drink, can't smoke, can't drive without restrictions, have limited civil rights, can't live on their own. Apparently the government doesn't feel people under 18 are responsible enough to deal with these kinds of choices. Fine. Then why are they responsible enough to be sentenced to death for their crimes?
