Edwards appears to have been the first choice of the party if not Kerry's personal first choice, and with good reason. Edwards has huge media appeal, which can only help the ever monotone and seemingly melancholy Kerry.

I'm pretty sure this is the ticket Bush/Cheney did NOT want to see. I'm also pretty sure, he is the VP choice Hillary didn't want to see.
