and the arguement that the gas is deteriorated is irrelevant. iraq had a mandate to DESTROY its WMD's ten years ago. what apparently happened was that instead of destroying it's WMD's, it tried to bury them active. regardless of the fact that in austere weather conditions the two types of gas break down without care, there is still the simple matter that the existance of WMD's, degraded or not, shows that saddam certainly did not destroy his weapons.
