Not sure why this question is aimed at me...I didn't say it was a good thing he was imprisioned, I didn't say he should be happy. I said that he should be compensated by the state (ie. tax payers) a sum that at least replaces the money he would have possibly earned in order to assist him in reintegrating into society AND he should also be able to receive some assistance in the way of job training and placement and that we should NOT bankrupt the state (which pays for all those other social programs so vital to peoples existance). You cannot return the mans life to him, so that is a pointless discussion. All you can do is try to help him move forward.....You know I know too many people in real life who can't move forward..they are stuck continually in the past...and they are quite a miserable lot...but thats not the point..the point is....he needs money to get on with his life....does that answer your question?
