Shiites riot over school textbooks in Pakistan
Security forces in the northern Pakistani city of Gilgit have evacuated 67 foreign tourists.
There have been violent protests by members of the city's Shiite community in recent days, who object to the wording of religious textbooks in public schools. They say the textbooks teach the religious rituals and beliefs of Pakistan's majority Sunni community.
At least one person has been killed in the disturbances. Gilgit is a popular destination for tourists.
