If someone posted here expressing the opinion that black people shouldn't marry white people...would that be allowed? Would that be insulting to black people?

What if someone posted here expressing the opinion that Catholics and protestants shouldn't be allowed to marry? Would that be allowed?

I wonder if it has occured to anyone, that suggesting that gays and lesbians should not be allowed to marry or have civil unions is quite insulting to the gays and lesbians who may or may not frequent thses boards.

I am not even gay and I have grown highly insulted by the deliberate and calculated, yet subtle attacks upon homosexuals that occur here.

The people who should be banned are those calling for the continued discrimination against gays. The people who persistently, and in some cases, bolding claim that being gay is a lifestyle, or a mental illness, or even an abomination unto God.

They should be the ones who are censored, they should be the ones being banned. They are ones who should be rebuked as surely as any racists, bigot, anti-simite, or woman-hater would be in postulating hateful and/or discriminatory ideals.

They are the ones who are truly being insulting and yet not a peep from the authorities here on the matter.

If this was truly a "family forum", then gay bashing (in any form, direct or subtle) would not be allowed and this entire topic would would be as off-limits as the religious topic. Racism isnt allowed here, religion bashing isnt allowed here, gender bashing and nation bashing isn't allowed here but gay bashing happens every time this topic comes around.

It needs to stop, I say.
