No. The jury has already reached its verdict: not guilty by reason of insanity.  Why can't that be turned into "guilty by reason of insanity", with subsequent sentencing to a psychiatric hospital instead of a regular prison? That way they are still found guilty and can also get the medical assistance they obviously need without being thrown to the wolves in regular prison. [img]graemlins/1ponder.gif[/img]
