don't think that ETA is behind this because ETA have *always* confined themselves to targeted killings (politicians, judges, policemen, journalists) and *always* gave a warning call prior to a bomb attack (and those bombs tend to be small, located on the coast and are generally designed to scare off tourists than to cause real loss of life.) And ETA have *never* been shy to claim responsibility for any attack - their silence is deafening in this case. Finally, ETA (unlike the IRA and Al'Qaida) *never* set off multiple explosions.
If this is them, then it is a complete U-turn in both methodology and ideology.
