Well, I'm not so sure I live in a country that lacks a social conscience.

There is no doubt that Sex Education is important, but I don't think it's the government's job to hand out condoms. There is free testing and treatment for STDs, but is giving away a pack of condoms really going to solve any problems? Is a free condom more likely to be used than one from a pack you buy out of a machine in the bathroom or at the pharmacy?

I only ask because condoms are widely available and extremely cheap. Now a kid with an STD who had to pay for testing and treatment would probably go untreated as long as they could get by with it, thereby endangering themselves and risking the infection of others because the testing and treatment might be cost prohibitive for most, so I can understand the logic in providing free testing and treatment because it protects the community, but free condoms? If a person is so lazy and/or uncaring that they can't drop a few quarters in a condom machine the next time they stop for gas before their big date, I doubt they'd be willing to take on the responsibility of loading the love glove.
