I haven't seen the ads myself, and I didn't lose any loved ones on 9/11 (other than fellow Americans in general).

I agree the ads are probably in bad taste, but 9/11 is a defining event for President Bush and America both.

Also, if Gore had been President, HE would be the one using the ads instead of Bush. It may be tacky and tasteless, but you can bet your bottom dollar that the President would use those images regardless of his party affiliation.
