The laws appear to treat musicians as if they don't need exposure - and music lovers as if they are immoral. Draconian to the extreme. If I were a purchaser of music in Australia, I'd just skip it altogether and turn on the frikkin radio. (If the law were enforced, which Yorick says it isn't).
