Barry, it was an accident and not preventable...mistakes happen. If they were all preventable they wouldn't happen, it's why they are called ACCIDENTS. No where in human endeavor will you EVER find 100% surety. It just does not exist.
Willow: whats that got to do with anything? The point of my post was that you cannot avoid accidents. You can try to lessen the odds, but the fact is...they happen.
If you or anyone ever comes up with a way to eliminate all accidents on even a small scale...say just one town...let me know, I can hook you up to become the richest person in Canada.
From the way some people react you would think the guy took live ammo and straffed an elementary school for the fun of it. It was a NON-Event...no injuries and the property damage was likely a new goppher size hole in the yard.
