Well, MagiK, I recognize your "agreeance" [img]graemlins/heee.gif[/img] on the dislike of spending, and you've been consistent there.

Bush's spending habits won't change, I'm afraid. He's exceedingly sensitive to his contributors, and the Bush political engine will keep running after his presidency (with perhaps one more Bush having aspirations in the coming years), so I do not think he'll suddenly change during term #2.

Look, as I've said before, I'll be fine this November. From my point-of-view, I can't lose. If Howard Dean or Clark end up challenging him, and if they win, I'll be happy. However, Bush's reign has not been very bad for me personally, so all won't be lost if he wins. In fact, over the remaining term he has, and into a second one should we choose him again, I hope to get into a financial position where I stand to gain a LOT from his presidency.
