Trying to ride outside the pressurized cabin on any flight of length is going to be fatal. There is also the possibility of being squished by the landing gear. Desperation is no excuse for stupidity...of course, these guys probably were not educated and didn't know that it gets 30 belo zero or lower at altitude...and that the atmosphere gets too thin to breathe.
