McDonald's manager mown down over mayo refusal
A Texan woman who mowed down a McDonald's manager in her car when she was denied mayonnaise on her cheeseburger has been jailed for 10 years.
Waynetta Nolan, 37, broke Sherry Allen Jenkins's pelvis after hitting her in the restaurant's Houston parking lot on April 23, the Houston Chronicle reports.
"I put the mayonnaise on her burger," Jenkins, 43, told the court in Houston. "I took the onions and the mustard off. What did I do?"
Nolan, who was found guilty of aggravated assault, said she had been going through "a bad time" in her life when she lost it in the drive-through line after being told by a teenage waitress that mayonnaise was not an option on cheeseburgers.
When Nolan got angry, she was asked to speak to the manager. Witnesses said Nolan cursed and threw a cheeseburger back though the drive-through window.
When Jenkins, 43, offered a special-order cheeseburger with mayonnaise, witnesses said, Nolan complained her chips were cold. She was given new fries, and then demanded a new drink.
Unable to calm Nolan down, Jenkins called police, who asked her to get the license plate number, and it was then that Nolan hit Jenkins and sped away.

why proud? because finally the days are gone when someone can sue for getting cold fries and receive a million-dollar payout. in other words, the right party went to jail in this instance.
