What a fascinatng statement. I agree that there can be known unknowns--you don't know what CD is currently playing in my stereo, for example. However, can there actually be "unknown unknowns"? In order not to know that you know nothing about something (no, I am not trying for a gobbledygook award myself), you can't even know that the "something" exists. It would have to be something so completely foreign to you that you had never even considered it being a possibility before, like dating Belle.
