Oh - and as for MR. Moore's political future - I think the probability of him running for governor is very high. Considering the fact that he still has a huge amount of support from the general population. When he ran for the position of Judge in the first place, he made the promise of building a monument to the 10 Commandments and having it placed in the State Courthouse the cornerstone of his campaign. The promise of the monument is one of the reasons he was elected to be a Judge in the first place.

As Chewbacca pointed out, Alabama is the virtual buckle of the Bible Belt. I expect Moore can parlay this whole affair into a major campaign issue with the purpose of moving into the Governor's Mansion after the next election.

And if he DOES become governor, I can also see him adding a certain controversial monument to the inner decor of the Governor's Mansion...once he moves in. I would say this whole issue is a loooooong way from being over.
