I already replied to that once.
Nowadays the left wing is strictly anti-fascistic (and vice-versa which is why you can't really join an anti-fascist NGO in Austria without being part of or associated with the Communist party
)
However back in the days when fascists first were given that name their movements derived from Socialist parties or parties with at least a Socialist agenda.
Once again: NSDAP is short for
National Socialist German Workers Party
