I agree.
And might I add that:

It is incredibly important for kids to make experience with rough play or fights at early ages. They still learn by experience and so they comprehend the meaning of hurting and being hurt. Being brought up extremely peacefully can lead (and has led) children to excessively test and use aggressive behaviour in puberty where it's not as harmless as in elementary school.
A 14-year old can (and has) beat another 14-year old to death. And he/she does so not because he/she played superhero in elementary but maybe because he/she was abstained from violence and is now getting high on something new.
