But the Canadian populace was firmly behind Chretien's decision about the Iraqi war.
Anyway I havent' experienced anything like this when I've been visiting US. Of course I've never been in California, only in the neighbouring states and on the east coast. And the people there are not much different from the people here. Of course the tend to pronounce things in a very weird way,
