Just to expand on the concept of praying for God to injure or harm someone..the Bible explicitly directs Christians to do just the opposite. We are to pray for blessings on our enemies rather than harm. This is mentioned in the O.T. and N.T. both.
Proverbs 25:
[21] If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat;
and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;
[22] for you will heap coals of fire on his head,
and the LORD will reward you.
Romans 12:
[19] Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God; for it is written, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord."
[20] No, "if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head."
[21] Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
So the Old Testament says to pray for blessing for your enemy and the New Testament states it again, almost word for word.
Just one of the many examples of the Bible being consistent from beginning to end.
