My point exactly. Bush, Sr. should have taken Hussein by the scruff of his neck back then. Had he done so, then the Iraqi people could have had a good 10 years of breathing room to get used to new freedoms and more economic prosperity. Oh, well...hindsight is always 20/20.

I agree with john. A highly-skilled sniper team can demoralize a vastly superior force by taking out only a dozen commanders. It is a shame that our government steadfastly maintains a position of "moral superiority" by refusing to use a very useful tool. This may be a failure of some sort on my part, but if I were in power I would use snipers--at the very least they are cost-effective and an excellent deterrent. Don't forget that snipers were a central part of the American Revolutionary forces....
