I can guarentee that you did not here this correctly, if indeed it did happen.
We do not have middle school.
K-6 Primary School
7-12 High School aka Secondary School
College/University/TAFE etc. Tertertiary Education
On a more serious note, do you know what part of Australia this was in ?? What year he was in ??
