I suffer from a form of agoraphobia, which is the fear of crowds and closed places. For me, it manifests as a specific fear: man-made small spaces; ie: crowded elevators, crowded hallways, crowded rooms, etc. I can get on an elevator if it's empty, but not with more than 2 friends of mine. One more person gets on, I have to leave. It's the reason I don't go to concerts anymore (indoors).
It only happens in man-made enclosures. I used to cave-crawl, and that doesn't bother me.
The fear is unreal. I can't breathe. I sweat. I shake. On 2 occasions, I have slipped into seizures (I have a neurological condition that makes me prone to them, up to gran-mals...

) It's not a good thing.
