Ozzy's two new albums are being released by Sony using the dreaded Key2Audio technology, which is responsible for destroying computers and other "non-approved" playback devices.
If you try to play the CD in ANY device that can be used to copy or "rip" a CD, not only will it stop the process, but it will DISABLE the device. Permanently.
This means, if I were to buy it, I still could not play it on my computer. If I tried, I would break my system. I repeat I would be unable to play a CD that I legally bought !!! [img]graemlins/1pissed.gif[/img]
At first, I didn't care, because only Celine Dion, and Christina Aguilar CD's were affected, and the music alone would kill my system.
But now, it's OZZY. This fall, once the CDs come out, my collection will be incomplete. For the first time in history, I will not be buying a release that the OZZ-Man will put out.
Nor will I be purchasing any Sony-released CDs again. [img]graemlins/1pissed.gif[/img]
