Perhaps its my negative attitude, but I'm thinking that they simply ignored his charges and\or Police record simply because they knew how much money they could make off of taxing his ticket sales. Sad, but most likely true. Any clues anyone???

Possibly its something to do with someone who has a criminal record in Australia, who's escaped prison and fled, isn't aloud to re-enter the country unless they're extradited or something ??
