Who out there is an NPR fan? What are your favorite programs/features? I got a kick out of "Motley Fools" today...a pretty hip program that brings finance and investing *down to earth* and discusses those topics in a zany, non-boring way. I also love the biographies NPR puts on.
If you've never tried NPR, you can generally find member stations around the 87.9 to 90.9 range on the FM dial, or you can search for a station in your area at http://www.npr.org/ .

Oh yeah! And lot's of Talk Radio on AM. My Jazz station is NPR, and it's always 'calming' compared to (as you said) these DJ Clones (Don't they all sound the same?)
