Interesting question. I don't know Six'. The reason behind that is that apart from Kagain, there aren't too many characters that use axes. Except if you make your main character that way.
I don't remeber a difference in THACO when if used the Axe +2, but then I wasn't looking and might of just presumed as such.
If I can find out, I'll let you know. BTW, is this out of curiosity, or are you running a character that would relly like to know?
