Hmm. In my case it simply worked. By the way, did you restart the game? If not, SAVE, exit it and run it again, check out. And if you are running a slow machine, consider lowering the resolution and effects setup. I did them all together, and just in case, do the same

Exact list: Lovered Ai_updates_per_second from 30 to 25, turned off footstep sounds, reduced path search nodes, turned off enhanced AI pathfinding and turned off 3D animations. Finally got a steady flow of FPS bu the way
