You don't think we can mimick a human being with a 3d programs yet? I beg to differ. Did you see Final Fantasy?
Poser isn't quite that good, but it is pretty damn impressive. Especially when used with a different rendering engine.
Personally I have no interest in Manga. I honestly don't think it works well with bryce because bryce creates 3d worlds and landscapes that you superimpose 2d characters over. They kind of clash. I am pretty sure you can get manga characters for poser and then you could render them all in the same engine to get accurate lighting and what not.
