MILAMBER(the quotes were getting too long [img]tongue.gif[/img] ), believe me i know all about military.Im going to be a forth generation pilot in my family. Both my dad and my brother fly. They know what goes on. Only a week ago my dad commented that, like my earlier example, a women with basic training got picked over a man with extensive military training. And i didnt mean just military F-16s, im talking stuff like DC-10s and MD-11s. Therefore my odds of getting picked for a job would be better then my brother's, even though hes a sargeant in the ANG. Not that it matters though, since my ultimate goal is to fly a stealth fighter, and there arent many of those kinds of pilots, i'll b flying in the ANG almost full time, then im transfering to FEDEX with my dad, since the pay is a lot better. Maybe my chances wont b as good in the military, but in commercial flying, im pretty much garenteed a job. Thats just the way it is. Maybe we should make a seperate thread if we want to debate
