i'm partial to the .40 S&W myself,
the .50 is just friggin rediculous.
you lose most of the power of a .50 round because
the majority of the powder doesnt even burn till the bullet has already left the barrel. plus you cant comforably carry
a .50 handgun, its just to big to be usefull.
sure it sounds cool, but your never really gonna be able
to use it in any realistic situation.
Plus desert eagle doesnt make that great of a gun,
the action is sloppy, and will really throw your aim off if you try
to fire more than once in succession.
if you like a bigger gun, go with a 45, probably a 1911 style
i personaly prefer the polymer frame weapons, ie. glock or a S&W sigma. Sig makes a nice one too.
if you want to spend the money on a really nice gun get a Kimber or an H&K those are nice guns
but i personaly recomend the 40 calibur. Lots of power, and you can still pack a bunch of them in a clip. And if you get a Glock you can get a good pre-ban hi-cap clip .
happy shooting
