I few years ago I bought the excellent game Legacy of Kain: blood omen, I absolutly loved the game. About a year later I got Soul Reaver with high hopes but alas was dissapointed, I didn't really enjoy the transition from 2D to 3D, plus their were many other things i didn't like. Last week I bought Blood Omen 2 and was a bit worried that it was going to be another Soul Reaver, but it wasn't. What it is however is one of the best games I have played, you don't have quite as much freedom as in soul reaver but its still 10 times better and definately worth the money. plus its one of the very few games that allow you to play a bad guy.
