Cody, sounds quite a bit like what I've got happening here. Except that I'm being condemned more by my classmates than by my family, my family learned some time ago the futility of trying to make me be online less or deciding what I should or should not enjoy. They're still not too approving of me being online though, nor of my having friends there.
It's not that I would mind having friends offline, but when I look at the people that I can make friends with around here online friends are CLEARLY preferrable. I've already been told by the idiots around here several times that if I want to stop being an "outcast" I have to start drinking alcohol. Yeah, right, like that's gonna happen.
As for the ambitions, none except for one or two of my classmates have any idea what sort of carreer they want, much less what kind of education they're going to take after Denmark's equivalent of High School. I've already decided the general direction of my future education as well as beginning to write a story, being an author for a living would be a dream come true [img]smile.gif[/img]
Alright, time to end this post, what I'm saying, Cody, is that I sympathize wholeheartedly. I know what it's like, to an extent, hang in there, it'll get better.
