Everyone knows this already but id thought id remind you anyway...
Beside bacon and gamon, all pork products make use of the leftovers that we don't wanna eat. i ate sausages up until a few weeks ago when i saw a clip on Mtv's show 'jackass' that reminded me truly of what sausages are made of... (And i ain't talking about the type of animal). im not gonna go into it but... At least when you eat a burger you know youll be eating 'lean' cow meat, even if it is diseased or whatever. pork pies, sausages and spam throw in all the pig's implements and no pork product is safe from those little xtras that get left over.. 'pork swords' anyone? in fact id say its a pretty wise bet to assume that in the pork industry, pork pies, our ol favourite spam and sausages are the left overs from the pig after its been stripped of its skin. THen again its probably the same with beef.
yeh, i know someones gonna say "uh duh," "or you think so?"
Anyway how we get on to pork anyway? ive forgotten.
