Oh man, talk about a day. We kept getting permission errors and 401 errors and ALL BECAUSE of a bug. I REMEMBER this bug. it's about the 'index.shtml' thing. safe to say, 4 (FOUR) 20MB Patches later, Windows 2000 Advanced Server is patched, all the Security holes closed and it even 'feels' like Windows XP now. I don't know if that's a good thing or not.??

Anyway, We finished at 9:00PM tonight, and I posted the 'Well?' post just to see if you would know what I meant. I Wanted to see if you could tell (LIKE I COULD) oh my God. Fast is one 4-letter word I don't mind using!

The only thing that limits us now is bandwidth, and we are fine in that dept. I had LOTS of help from my friend that owns the ISP/shop. He helped me re-install everything, get the drivers and stuff... and took some pic's of the system (I'll get them up tomorrow, I have been up since 2pm YESTERDAY getting this working.

I just wanted to say this:

Without you, this would not have been possible. I owe all of you (Even the people that could not donate) MANY thanks and praise. You saved this forum BIG TIME. No more 'service resources are gone' or other crap. SEARCH feature is on, and up to date--and MY #1 fave is that browsing/reading is LIGHTNING fast.

Welcome to Ironworks 2002 Server v2OHF Server!

PS: Rikard, your 'Zany' account is about to take a poop. better abandon the U.S.S. Zany while ya can mate!

I am working on converting the forum to PHP4 (With the security updates). This will cache the forum a good 10x better, and will mean loading pages will be even FASTER! I am researching PHP now, and I'm getting the hang of it.

Also added some really CIA'ish Snooping util's that will scare the SHIT out of Trolls. It's not something you can buy either.

More soon! (Looks over at that 'Zany' Rikard--shakes a finger at him)....
