In traditional DND the spellcaster would make a Concentration check to see if the spell was disrupted. The die roll would check the points the char has invested in Concentration, adding (or subtracting) the char's Constitution modifier against the damage dealt plus the spell's level. I have no idea how spell disrupts are calculated in this game but I'm inclined to say that if you have high Constitution and are casting something low-level like Magic Missile and get hit by a kobold for three damage, the spell won't fizzle. Cast Stoneskin and Mirror Image to avoid being hit in the first place.. that's my advice.
