I'll go along with that nitpicking. It wasn't intended to be absolute.

How about this, "a majority of Muslim scholars have agreed"? I have seen them saying it isn't Islam even from anti-US experts.

Back to my KKK example, there were preachers approving their actions from the pulpits, but they were obviously violating the orders of the Bible and Christianity by any reasonable accounting. The problem was some people believed it was ok because of who said it.
