The Chinese philosopher Wang Yangming (1472 ~ 1529) wrote the following poem at the age of 11:
Because the mountain is near and the moon far
We think the mountain is bigger than the moon.
But if someone had an eye as wide as heaven
He would see a big moon and a small mountain.
