Dark, for excessive foul language used to flame another forum member (some of the most excessive I've seen) your account has been suspended for two weeks, after which we will reevaluate the status of your membership. If we see threads that we do not agree with here, we do NOT cuss or flame the person who started them. Certainly not to the extent that you did above with at least SIXTEEN cuss words used, all in anger against someone else. That's effectively sustained verbal assault, mate, and is not justifiable by anything.
In any case, if you found this thread offensive all you had to do was email one of the moderators. Just because you found it offensive does NOT give you the right to attack and flame another member with a torrent of expletives and verbal abuse - including real threats of violence.
Barry, you should have known better than to post a thread like this. I don't think that your intent was to inflame racial hatreds, but it *does* have the potential to cause offence to some people who are quite sensitive about their country. (I concede that if the title of the thread had been "Top 10 Reasons To Hate The US" I would have received many, MANY more complaints - maybe Brits in general are just less sensitive to criticism of their country
). Not the smartest thing to do. Some people can laugh and have a self-deprecating look at their country, others can be very sensitive. Don't do it again, to ANYONE's country, ok?
