Dan, you should definitely visit your doctor to have it checked out. I agree with Memnoch (spits)

this sounds like an ulcer. You haven't said what you are taking for painkillers (if not Vioxx) but ulcers can be caused by taking Non Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDS).
