Neb, sounds like you're describing acute depression.
As for myself, I'm an abuse survivor. A happy day is a day spent knowing I love and am loved, in trust and harmony: and this has been the sum of days since I met the woman I married eleven years ago.
fable has a good point here, Neb, hon. Maybe you should look into this some. I am honored to be there for you and cheer you up as you do for me - as friends SHOULD do. *HUGS* But if it's more than a self-esteem issue or teen angst, maybe you should talk to someone with training...??? Either way, I'll always be here for you.
And fable - *BIG HUGS* That's SO wonderful! I love hearing of another who has come through 'the ringer'. I, too, was abused - as a child and then in my first marriage and then emotionally abandoned in my second marriage. I kept going believing that one day it would all be worth it. And it IS! I now have met a wonderful and loving man. It makes everything worth the torment I've been through. And it's true - knowing that you do truly love someone and they truly love you in return is the best feeling in the world (imho).
