Great story (and I didn't think it was too long), glad to hear everything turned out ok.

I've been working in LA for the last two years, and last summer I'd had enough of flying out every week from NY, so I brought my family out to live here in Irvine for the year. When we were preparing for the trip we decided that the dogs had to come with us, but the upheaval would be too much for our two cats (one's Siamese and he's set in his ways as only a cat can be). SO, my sister is living in our house and watching the beasts (and they're quite content, the traitors!)... but we miss them. Cats always appear so graceful and in control... but it's the bone-head manuvers they occasionally pull that helps to make them the great pets that they are.
