I agree with everyone here. I think that what makes a friend a friend is that they accept you with all of your shortcomings and strengths. They respect you and listen to you. When things are down, they help to cheer you up. I've seen a lot of people that say they have a lot of friends, but when things are their worst, that's normally when you find out who really is there as support, and who disappears. More often than not, the one person to stand beside you when you need someone the most, is the least likely person you would consider a friend.
