There's a part of me that is common with each of my friends. So we tend to talk about different things, depending on whom I'm chatting with at the moment.
I actually draw quite a distinct line between close friends and normal friends. In general, friends are those I can relate to (either because we have the same temperament or have some common interest).
But for someone to be considered a close friend, he or she would have to be trustworthy (can keep secrets for as long as necessary), non-judgemental, sympathetic and supportive. Pretty stringent criteria, I have to admit, which is why I have only a handful of close friends [img]smile.gif[/img]
