(Back in the 80's)
I was at the laundry mat with my son and his stepfather of three years.
My husband was pissed off at me for something stupid and I was thinking he was gettting over it while he waited for me to do the wash.
This older woman who was there when we walked in came over to me, pointed to my husband and my son and said "Your son looks
just like his father!"
I smiled at the woman and graciously thanked her, my face as full of pride as I could make it so I would not have to embarass either one of us with the truth.
She passed my husband and my son on her way out and stopped to tell him "Your son looks
just like you!"
He looked up at her scowling and said as mean as he could, (and he could look VERY mean) "That's NOT MY KID!"
The poor lady left the place both embarassed and frightened!
