Erm... I think you lost me there. So if I understand it right, you have a BG2 savegame saved onto a normal floppy disk, right? And now you're trying to play it again, right? So you moved it to the savegames folder in your BG2 directory, but it won't load because it's read only? Is that your problem?
In that case, just go to the files of your savegame, right-click on them, choose properties and then change the settings at the bottom from read-only to archive. That should work, I think. [img]smile.gif[/img]
