I've heard that POR2 is VERY buggy and has almost not story or NPC interaction, just a lot of VERY slow turnbased hack and slash.
PS:T on the other hand is almost 100% story and NPC interaction, you can even start up conversations with the people in your party, ask them for advice and such, learn about their past. Your Int, Wis and Cha also determine which dialogue options you have, and how big your chance of convincing people is.
PS:T is the best RPG from Bioware/Black Isle so far.
