I have almost completed BG1 and dont remember any underground dungeon (or underwater, or a timebomb). If there is, I too would like to know about it couse I totally overlooked it, witch would'nt be surprising in this game!
P.S. Have you ever seen Escape from LA? Kinda cheesy movie, but the end is very cool in respect to losing electricity! I agree that the future may hold alot of interesting things for us, and I'me anxious to get started.
