So that you get good options when you use the Wish spell. If you do not use Wish when you solo, I salute you and say good luck.

~~ADD] Technically though, you only need 10 WIS. Whenever you want to use Wish, drink a Potion of Insight. However, due to want of convenience and a desire to blitz through ToB, I gave my Sorcerer a default of 18 WIS.
